For Het Entrepot, Jason Slabbinck and I designed a ‘corona proof’ event layout in their main performance hall.

The concept was inspired by separate boxes or ‘loges’ which can still be found in old theatres.

We built the stage as the centre of the hall. In that way, we could create a real 360° experience for both performers and public. By separating the crowd into small loges, safety could be guaranteed.

Everything was built out of quality material and in a sustainable way: by making all building elements modular, everything will be reusable in the future.

Besides visuals, audio was obviously another important part of the experience. With 3D calculations and extra speakers, we made sure the audio was perfectly spread throughout the entire hall.

The finishing touch was made by adding 40 custom made light fixtures.
